Drop By Visalia, CA Mexican Restaurants to Unwind with Margaritas

When you’re hoping to relax after a long stressful week, there’s nothing better than having a drink while hanging out with friends, such as the world famous margarita. Often associated with Cinco de Mayo celebrations, you don’t need a Mexican holiday to chug down a few of these tasty drinks. The History Margaritas may seem like an intrinsic part of Mexican culture, but the cocktail is actually a modern invention. Carlos “Danny” Herrera owned a hotel in Baja, California which was a popular spot for locals to drop by on the way to Rosarito Beach. In 1935, after Prohibition, people were enjoying a lot of alcohol except for an interesting exemption: Marjorie King, a pretty starlet, was allergic to alcohol except for tequila. The problem was she hated the taste of tequila.
